PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Run by Mrs. Allan through the District Library, the PopUp PD program has been updated this year and is already rolling strong. In the first quarter (Aug 26 - Oct 16), there were 16 participants who utilized PopUp resources and completed 5-10 hours of PD. This quarter (Oct 28-Dec 19), there have already been 20 participants getting started on their learning journey.
Pop Up PD is intended to give bite-sized Professional Development on topics like classroom management, technology, instructional best practices, and more. Each PD incorporates both physical and online materials. Teachers can receive a Coyote Credit for completing three, and it all comes delivered to you at your school. WPRD ADAPATIVE PROGRAMS
Over the last two years, Amanda Nelson, WPRD Recreation Manager, has worked very hard to build a partnership between WPRD and the Williston Wonders to develop an Adaptive programming cycle within the WPRD Recreation department with the goal of creating accessible recreation programs for all.
