COMMUNITY MEETINGS

Williston Basin School District #7 is committed to maintaining open communication between the district and the community.

We invite you to attend our upcoming Community Meeting, hosted by Dr. Faidley and the District Administration. The first of our four quarterly community meetings will take place on Tuesday, August 27 at 5:00 PM in the Bakken Auditorium (502 W Highland Dr).

The topic of this meeting will be Enrollment Growth and the School Boundary Setting Process.

Dear Community Members,

I am writing to inform you that at the August 5, 2024, school board meeting, a decision was made to revise the board’s approach to public engagement sessions. The previously planned 25-minute sessions immediately before each board meeting will be replaced with longer (approximately 1 hour), public engagement sessions held quarterly.

These quarterly sessions will offer a platform for the board to inform the public of district operations, dialogue with constituents about student education, and communicate the vision and mission of Williston Basin School District #7. The board understands that it's important to have an informal environment where the community can discuss school district matters with their school board.

The first of these new quarterly sessions will be scheduled to take place before November 1. Further details will be finalized and shared after our monthly meeting September 3.
